The Irish Wolfhung breed suffer of poor genetic diversity, that’s why Barbara E.Willemse introduced Lumos to the breed for his health, COI, and physical conformation. The result of this mating is, in my opinion, an absolute success in term of health, temperament and looking. Some puppies will be used for the breed (or not) and some for wolfdog/tamaskan lines.
